Agree the sample brief

Confirm the target composition, measured dimensions and tolerance, color reference and any required performance checks. Ask about sample availability, charges and timing for this specific request. A target date is not an agreed lead time until it is confirmed.

Review and record the sample

Check the sample against the agreed brief, including pattern scale, sewing area, color and suitability with the garment. For extension, recovery or washing tests, record the method and acceptance criteria so results are comparable. Keep the sample reference and record revisions clearly.

Confirm the order requirements

Once the sample direction is agreed, confirm the selected version, quantity, packaging, labeling, inspection requirements and quotation terms. A sample approval should identify exactly which style and specification the order will use.
